TRADING TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales by Continental Furniture Pty. Ltd (the Company) to each customer.
Delivery
- Melbourne - F.I.S
- Interstate - F.O.B Melbourne to nominated Carrier
Claims
- No goods are to be returned to the Company without prior written authorization by the Company.
- Invoice number and/or original order number must be supplied before credit will be considered.
- A 'goods return' authority number will be issued and this number must be used by the store then the goods are returned.
- No claims for shortage or damaged items will be recognized unless notified in writing within 7 days from receipt of goods.
- This Company is in no way responsible for any damage which may be occassioned through use or misuse and its only liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods.
- Claims for damaged goods will not be accepted if documentary evidence shows that the customer or their agents received the goods in 'good order and condition'.
GOODS NOT RETURNABLE
The following good cannot be returned for credit under any conditions:
- Any merchandise specially made, including items cut to length
- Any goods altered or damaged by the purchaser
